COVID-19 Update

COVID Update from EC

This past week, CFA Society Toronto leaders continue to meet regularly to monitor and adapt to rapidly changing conditions with a goal to ensure as little disruption as possible to your member services. We will continue these meetings and to ensure full situational awareness, we will share updates with our community regularly.

CFA Society Toronto Office Closure
Society staff and volunteers have also been adjusting to these new challenges this past week by working remotely.  With that said, for the health and safety of our community and in our efforts to help “flatten the curve”, the CFA Society Toronto office will remain closed until 30 April 2020. All Society staff will be available by phone or email from Monday to Friday between 8:30 am to 5 pm.

Upcoming Events and Programming
In our last update, we announced that no in-person events or meetings will be held until the end of April. Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to extend that date to 30 June 2020. Our team is currently exploring a variety of alternative delivery methods to damper the disruption this pandemic has caused to our planned events and programming schedule.

We understand this is a very difficult time and we would like to assure all our members and the greater investment community that CFA Society Toronto is here to support your needs. If you have any questions or concerns, we would encourage you to contact us directly at info@cfatoronto.ca. We will be updating our website and social media channels, Twitter and LinkedIn, regularly to ensure our community has the latest information.

MEDIA CONTACTS

The Media Contact Directory is a comprehensive guide of our members that gives you direct access to investment industry experts within the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.

The directory consists of members who have had their CFA charter for more than five years and have areas of expertise that they are willing to share by accepting phone calls or taking part in media interviews. We have also added a new section for members who have had their charters for three to five years. There are over 25 investment-related areas showcased in the directory.
