All applications (except associate) are processed by CFA Institute and are subsequently forwarded to CFA Society Toronto on a monthly basis. Applications are then reviewed by our Membership Committee and submitted for approval by the Board of Directors at the monthly meeting. Approved applicants will receive a notification once their membership is approved in the system.
Once approved, applicants can activate their membership by going online to pay their dues and sign their professional conduct statements. All activated memberships are uploaded into our system on a bi-weekly basis, and a notification will be emailed to all newly activated members.
Once approved, join by logging into your CFA Institute account. Your first dues payment varies depending on the time you first joined. If you joined between 1 May 2022 and 30 April 2023, your annual dues are valid through 30 June 2023. You will be billed again in May 2023 for the following year (2023-2024). If you joined between 1 May 2023 and 30 June 2023, you will enjoy a complimentary membership through 30 June 2024. You will be billed in May 2024 for the following membership year (2024-2025).
