Since its inception in 2010, the program has recognized work that influences both academia and practice — from pension-fund efficiency to diversity in corporate governance. Over 14 years, winning papers have been cited more than 400 times and downloaded 5,000 times worldwide, illustrating how great ideas can move markets forward.

Award Prizes
  • Prize: $15,000 CAD (shared equally among co-authors, subject to tax)
  • Recognition: Featured on the CFA Society Toronto website, The Analyst magazine, social media channels, and Hillsdale Investment Management platforms.
