Programming Committees

The Programming Committees provide concentrated programming on issues that are timely and of interest regarding targeted investment themes such as skills, career and personal development.

This is done through various educational programs and informational networking events that are appropriate to the subject matter and targeted audience. These programs include, but are not limited to: seminars, workshops, courses, conferences, evening network events, roundtables, and events with other reputable professional organizations in the financial markets. The following committees fall under the Programming portfolio.

Corporate Finance

The Corporate Finance committee focuses on developing high quality programs that incorporates, but is not limited to, Equity, Fixed Income, Risk Management, Alternative Investments and/or Portfolio Management perspectives that are relevant for the benefit or progression of corporate finance end-users in the industry.

Industry Relations & Corporate Governance

Senior Advisors: Sadiq Alladina, CFA and Parham Nasseri, CFA

The Industry Relations & Corporate Governance Committee focuses on developing high quality outreach initiatives and collaborative relationships that will enhance the existing awareness of the CFA designation and CFA Society Toronto to important external groups. The Committee achieves this through events and programming that may be developed independently or in collaboration with other programming committees.

Institutional Asset Management

The Institutional Asset Management committee focuses on developing high quality programs that incorporates, but is not limited to, Equity, Fixed Income, Risk Management, Alternative Investments and/or Portfolio Management perspectives that are relevant for the benefit or progression of institutional asset management end-users in the industry.

Private Wealth Management

The Professional Development committee focuses on developing high quality programs that will enhance the soft skills and/or technical skills sets that are relevant for the progression of CFA Society Toronto members at various career stages.
