Michael volunteers for the University Outreach Committee working closely with Universities to raise awareness among the next generation about the CFA Program, and inspire them to pursue a career in the Finance and Investment Industry.

After recently moving back to Toronto, I was looking for a local volunteer opportunity and the CFA Society Toronto happened to be looking for volunteers. At a bare minimum I thought it would be a good opportunity to work more closely with the Toronto finance community. Five years in and not only have I met an outstanding group of professionals who work for and volunteer with the Society, but I have also grown much closer to local university communities which has been an incredibly rewarding experience.
