This is why, for communicators, a tool like generative AI (GenAI) is thrilling. It can help us move past the oh-so-tough starting point, providing a base of text to work from. When we want to include an analogy or snappy conclusion, it’s a great source of inspiration. When it comes to brainstorming, it’s a useful partner, generating ideas for all sorts of topics, and can provide an outline for said suggestions.

Historically, nature-related risks, including those stemming from biodiversity loss, have been discussed separately from climate change. There has been growing recognition however of the interconnections between the two factors – a trend that’s played out alongside a heightened focus on the potential materiality of nature-related risks to investments. In recognition of this, RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM)¹ first published our perspective on climate change and nature-related risks in our Climate Report 2022, and outlined key activities related to this focus.
