CFA Society Toronto Announces Strategic Partnership with VersaFi

On September 25, 2024, CFA Society Toronto is proud to announce our first-ever strategic partnership with VersaFi (formerly WCM), a national leader in advancing equity for women in Canada’s finance sector. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in our continued work as champions for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the investment and financial services industry.

Through this partnership, CFA Society Toronto and VersaFi will work together on a variety of initiatives, including the promotion of gender equity through research, cross-promotion of events, and our Annual Women in Finance Conference.

“This partnership with VersaFi reflects our commitment to fostering a more diverse and inclusive investment community,” says CFA Society Toronto CEO Fred Pinto, CFA, ICD.D. “Collaborating with VersaFi, we aim to amplify our impact on critical issues such as gender equity and inclusion. Together, we are poised to make a meaningful difference by combining our resources and expertise.”

Tanya van Biesen, President & CEO of VersaFi, expressed: “At VersaFi, we know that true progress happens when organizations unite to address the most pressing challenges in our industry. This partnership with CFA Society Toronto is a powerful example of how collaboration fuels change. By joining forces, we are leveraging our collective influence to accelerate equity for women at every career stage.
