2017 Research Challenge winners

The Challenge is an equity research competition among student teams from the world’s top university business and finance programs. Students write an equity research report on a publicly traded company, and present their findings to an expert panel. The teams are judged on their written reports and the presentations and a winner is selected. Challenge

The Ethics Challenge is a competition between student teams from master of finance and/or finance/economics programs that analyze a case and flag the ethical dilemma(s) where right and wrong may not be apparent. Teams have ten minutes to present their findings in front of a panel of senior charterholders.  Teams are judged on the content of their presentation, their presentation skills, and their responses in the judge's Q and A session.Read More

Scholarship Awards

Three scholarships: first place $3,000, second place $2,000, and third place $1,000 (CAD), are given to chosen candidates who are in their third year of finance and economic study and have a minimum 3.0 GPA (or equivalent) in their program. Students are also asked to write an essay describing why they believe they are a candidate for one of the scholarships.Read More
