2020 National Volunteer Week
Strengthening Toronto's investment community

Thank you to our team of dedicated team of volunteers. 2020 National Volunteer Week 19 - 25 April 2020

Over the years, CFA Society Toronto volunteers have served a critical role in evolving our member service offerings to meet the professional and career development demands of a rapidly changing investment industry. Volunteers serve our community with their peers in one of our many committees, with each committee serving a unique purpose. CFA Society Toronto committees operate in one of our four main committee categories, which include:

  • Member Services
  • Outreach
  • Programming
  • Standing
During this year's National Volunteer Week, we would like to take a moment to recognize and thank the many volunteers who have dedicated their time and efforts in helping us foster a strong and united investment community by creating opportunities for our members to raise standards and make high-quality contributions toward a trustworthy future of finance. This year in particular, we have seen our great team of volunteers rise to the occasion as they adapted to the sudden adversities of the COVID19 pandemic. Through these uncertain times, our volunteers continued to coordinate remotely to adjust plans and ensure CFA Society Toronto can continue to provide meaningful professional and career development opportunities and maintain a positive relationship with the greater finance community through their outreach efforts.
